Law Enforcement Response Policy
This page is addressed to law enforcement and judicial authorities. Operator: [[OPERATOR_LEGAL_NAME]] — [[REGISTERED_ADDRESS]] — official channel: [[LAW_ENFORCEMENT_EMAIL]].
1. Our commitment
We cooperate with valid legal requests from competent authorities. We retain data sufficient, in most cases, to establish who purchased a given number, when, and what was delivered to it.
2. What we hold and may disclose
- Account data: email address, name if given, creation date and activation status.
- Network log: IP address, its country, network operator and classification, for every registration, sign-in, purchase and inbox access, with precise UTC timestamps.
- Device fingerprint: a stable hashed identifier and its technical characteristics, and the list of other accounts associated with the same device.
- Anonymisation signals: whether the connection came via VPN, datacenter or Tor; any conflict between the device timezone and the address country; and any address leaked via WebRTC.
- Payment data: payer name, email, country and account identifier at the payment provider, plus amount, timestamp and transaction identifier. Important: the payment provider is itself subject to KYC obligations and may hold stronger verified identity than we do — we recommend a separate request to them.
- Rental record: the number, purchase time, period start, scheduled and actual end, and the renewal chain.
- Message log: sender, arrival time, and time of delivery to the renter. (Message bodies are retained for a limited period; an urgent preservation request is advisable.)
3. What we do not have
- We do not hold card or bank account data — it never passes through us.
- We do not hold passwords in readable form.
- We do not hold the true address behind a properly configured VPN. We hold the fact of its use, any incidental leak, and the country inferred from the device clock.
4. How to submit a request
Send from an official email domain to [[LAW_ENFORCEMENT_EMAIL]], including:
- The requesting agency, the officer's name, and direct contact details.
- The legal basis (court order / subpoena / search warrant), attached.
- The identifier sought: the phone number in E.164 format, the account email address, or the order reference.
- The time range sought (in UTC).
- Your required response date.
The more precise the identifier and time range, the faster and more complete the response.
5. Preservation requests
We accept preservation requests and will retain the specified records for 90 days, renewable, pending legal process. Send a preservation request immediately, even before process is complete — log data is deleted automatically at the end of the retention period.
6. Emergencies
Where there is an imminent risk to life or of serious injury, email [[LAW_ENFORCEMENT_EMAIL]] with a subject line beginning EMERGENCY. We review such requests urgently and may disclose the data necessary to avert the risk.
7. Child sexual abuse material
We report any such content to the competent authorities directly and without notice to the account holder, and preserve all evidence.
8. User notice
As a rule we may notify an account holder of a request concerning them, unless prohibited by court order or statute, or where notice would endanger an investigation or a person's safety.
9. Response time
We aim to respond within 10 business days of a valid request, and immediately in emergencies.
